The building has a charming old-world allure, yet it’s hard not to notice it’s in dire need of refreshing. Check-in was smooth, and staff friendliness was a pleasant surprise, but the overall experience felt a bit off for a hotel marketed as a 4-star. My room was clean and had a lovely view, which I appreciated. The torn lace curtains and musty bed cover didn’t quite scream luxury. Free Wi-Fi was a plus, yet I wished the upgrade efforts encompassed more than just the common areas—a full renovation is overdue. Dining left something to be desired; the service was slow, and basic items were unavailable. With basic amenities like laundry and a bar, the hotel may appeal to budget-conscious travelers, but be prepared for trade-offs. If you're seeking a balance of luxury and value, this might not be the best fit.
